Latest Missions which were presently running from Indian Space Research Organisation are –

1. PSLV-C47/Cartosat-3 Mission (Latest by Nov., 2019)

India’s PSLV-C47 effectively propelled Cartosat-3 and 13 business nanosatellites from Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota.

The satellite derives its heritage from ISRO’s earlier INSAT/GSAT satellite series.

Weighing 3357 kg, GSAT-30 is to serve as replacement to INSAT-4A spacecraft services with enhanced coverage.  The satellite provides Indian mainland and islands coverage in Ku-band and extended coverage in C-band covering Gulf countries, a large number of Asian countries and Australia. The designed in-orbit operational life of GSAT-30 is more than 15 years.

3. PSLV-C48/RISAT-2BR1 (Latest by Dec., 2019)

PSLV-C48 effectively dispatches RISAT-2BR1 and nine business satellites from Satish Dhawan Space Center SHAR, Sriharikota .  India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, in its fiftieth flight (PSLV-C48), effectively propelled RISAT-2BR1, an earth perception satellite, alongside nine business satellites of Israel, Italy, Japan and USA from Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota.  PSLV-C48 lifted-off at 1525Hrs (IST) on December 11, 2019 from the First Launch Pad of SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota. PSLV-C48 was the 75th dispatch vehicle strategic SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota. This is the second trip of PSLV in ‘QL’ design (with 4 strong lash on engines).

Around 16 minutes and 23 seconds after lift-off, RISAT-2BR1 was infused into a circle of 576 km at a tendency of 37 degree to the equator.

RISAT-2BR1 is a radar imaging earth perception satellite weighing around 628 kg. The satellite will offer types of assistance in the field of Agriculture, Forestry and Disaster Management.
